Bickley Park Road, Bromley

The works at Bickley Park Road, Bromley comprise the strip out, partial demolition and extension of an existing outdated care home to form a new modern 86 bed care home, varying an extant planning consent to maximise the development opportunity and number of bedrooms previously permitted.

Piling works within the existing basement and significant structural alterations to open up the existing building were required to provide new lift cores and create the ‘Great Room’ bar, dining spaces and a range of other communal facilities. Due to the proximity of the adjacent railway line, Network Rail approvals were required for cranage works.

Externally, works included extensive landscaping, including tree protection works, car parking and boundary wall reconstruction.
